Pad Man song Saale Sapne: Akshay Kumar pays tribute to the inspiration behind the film – Arunachalam Muruganantham

Pad Man is an inspiring tale of a man feeling the pain of a woman and thriving to make the world a better place for them while they battle the many things that they have to go through for being a woman. It is based on Arunachalam Muruganantham’s drive to provide hygienic and cheap sanitary napkins to women who can’t afford the expensive ones and make a difference in their lives, has been applauded world over. Akshay Kumar portrays him in the film. The makers released a new song today which has the actor trying to devise a formula to come up with such unique pads. He invests, invents, thinks, gets bruised, but continues to go on with his work. At the end of the song, it pays tribute to the real padman himself.
It is really amazing to hear Mohit Chauhan after a long time. There was a time when every film album used to have a song by him but it has become pretty scant lately. So this inspirational track makes us welcome Mohit Chauhan again to our playlist. The video begins with Akshay trying to figure ways to make a pad.
