After seven years, Sasural Simar Ka to go off air this March!

Speculations were rife that Colors TV may pull the plugs on its popular show, Sasural Simar Ka. Finally, the news is out! According to a leading portal, the channel has taken a final call to end the show. After almost 7 years, the show will go off air.
Sasural Simar Ka underwent a leap which failed to impress the audience and as a result, it could not manage to rise on the rating charts. This is the reason behind the decision and the last episode will be aired on March 2, 2018. When Rohan Mehra, who plays Simar’s son-in-law Sameer Dhanraj Kapoor, was contacted, he said, “No idea, we haven’t been informed about it.” Moreover, the producer of the show didn’t confirm the news. Sasural Simar Ka is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Limited. It is listed as the fifth longest running show after Balika Vadhu, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. The show started with Dipika Kakar, Avika Gor, Shoaib Ibrahim and Manish Raisinghani. It underwent many changes and finally, Dipika called it quits. The character of Simar is now being played by Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar.
With the show coming to an end, we are more eager to know which show will take over its place.
